C. Overview

The Alchemy Startup Program is an in-kind infrastructure benefit, not a cash grant: Alchemy applies credits directly to a qualifying team's account to offset node, RPC and API costs, alongside a stated $5,000 in AWS credits for compute, storage and databases, and direct access to Alchemy's engineering team for debugging and architecture help. Alchemy supports more than 100 blockchains, including Ethereum, Solana, Arbitrum, Polygon, Optimism, Base and BNB Chain, which makes this program genuinely multi-chain at the general-program level, though several specific chains have their own, separately branded and often larger co-programs.

The clearest example is the Alchemy-Arbitrum Grant, worth up to $500,000 in infrastructure credits per team building or migrating to Arbitrum Orbit rollups, run jointly with the Arbitrum Foundation as part of that Foundation's own 2026 grant menu. Alchemy runs similarly named co-programs with other chains, such as Monad; a founder should check whether their target chain has a dedicated Alchemy program before defaulting to the smaller general Startup Program.

Eligibility on the general program is broad by design: Alchemy states it wants to hear from teams "whether you're VC-backed, in an accelerator, or bootstrapping your first project," as long as you're "building something real." Existing Alchemy customers affiliated with partner organisations such as VCs or accelerators may qualify for enhanced benefits, though the exact enhancement is not disclosed on the page.

Key stats:

  • Application to credits applied: 30-second form, a call, credits within days
  • $5,000 in AWS credits stated on the general program
  • Up to $500,000 in credits available through the Alchemy-Arbitrum co-program specifically
  • 100+ chains supported by Alchemy's infrastructure
